an utterly romantic escape
true grandeur special moment charming detail
this building possesses true grandeur. the hotel is fine, filled with historical significance. i appreciated the friendly staff, each ready with a smile. their attentiveness makes every moment special, a detail i found particularly charming.
the kioku bar, with its extensive sake selection, poured tonic from a large plastic bottle, a slight contrast to the bar's otherwise upscale presentation. it is a minor detail, though it caught my eye.

The pool area offers a serene experience, with twenty comfortable loungers with soft cushions and a shaded section for those seeking respite from the sun. It is an oasis of calm. guests can also enjoy adjacent spa facilities.

strong coffee attentive staff
we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the drawing room. the presentation of the food was beautiful and the coffee was strong. the staff was very attentive to all our needs.
the gym was a bit crowded during peak hours. it made using some equipment difficult

helpful staff quick accommodation great location close attractions
the staff was helpful and quickly accommodated us. we were allowed to have our room in the morning so we did not have to wait for check in time. the hotel is in a great location close to many attractions
i would prefer my tonic out of my own bottle. it would allow me to dictate the amount poured. the large plastic bottle did not quite fit with the image.

the hotel staff was helpful and very nice. everyone was so friendly. the staff got us accommodated quickly and efficiently. they assisted us with transferring our belongings from a previous hotel.

The building is historic with a beautiful design. The room had many convenient features. I found the tour of the building informative. Shae presented it well. I appreciated the location since it was close to many main sites.
The room was quite small! though otherwise comfortable.

Excellent Stay!
delicious sandwich unique detail helpful staff
I savored a delicious afternoon tea in the Drawing Room recently. Traditional and vegan sandwiches was very good. Avocado and chicken were standouts! Tea timers added a unique detail enhancing the afternoon experience. The wood-paneled Drawing Room offered intimate views of historic Whitehall. I appreciated the helpful staff who warmly chatted about the Grade II listed building.
I encountered a minor inconvenience . I found no readily available spot to sit, read, and relax apart from restaurants and bars. I had to stay in my room to relax after my day.

I dined at Papermoon and found the staff cute. Starters included pea soup and fried anchovies with mozzarella. I enjoyed the lamb. The lemon, passionfruit and meringue tart was light.

The hotel is near many attractions. Buckingham Palace is a short walk away. The hotel's street connects Westminster to Trafalgar Square, and it's easy to get to Soho for theaters. I appreciated the central situation.
